How to join.
Just a few step

01. FIND A STORE NEAR YOU

Check if the Elite Indoor Race is available in your country and find a store near you. Fill in the form in the Map below and we’ll send you the list of participating stores in your area.

02. BRING YOUR CYCLING KIT

Choose your location, date and time and go to the nearest store. Get your cycling kit and clothes ready for the race, you’ll have to put in your best effort.

03. RACE!

Just ride! Jump on the Elite smart trainer demo unit in the store and take on the ultimate racing experience. We’ve teamed up with ROUVY so you can ride on one of cycling’s most immersive and fun courses from the ROUVY’s selection of video races. The best of indoor cycling in one place.

04. THE COURSE

You’ll start with a short warm-up just before the ride is about to begin. Then, you’ll face a 2km-section of the UCI Road World Championships in Imola, Italy. The greatest effort is in the final part of the course. Can you compete with World Champion Alaphilippe?

05. SIGN UP FOR THE LEADERBOARD

Once you’ve finished the ride, scan the QR code that will be displayed on the screen. You will simply need to enter your email to register your result and access the leaderboard.

06. SPREAD THE WORD

Bring and battle your friends, challenge your co-workers, or simply set a new record for yourself against riders from around the world. The more the merrier!

FAQ

Where can I sign up for the race?

To sign up you simply need to contact the nearest shop in your area and plan your ride. Hit the button in the Map below to find the list of stores. So far countries which have joined are: France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Ukraine.

What do I need to participate?

You must be at least 18 years old and self-certify that you are in good health. We recommend you bring your cycling clothing and shoes so you can secure your best performance. You will find a bike mounted to one of our smart trainers directly in store.

When is the Elite Indoor Race?

The Elite Indoor Race starts on 12 December, 2022 and ends on 30 April, 2023. Every country can choose their racing calendar. Contact your nearest shop and ask for the dates they chose. First season of the EIR 2022/23 in Ukraine, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland ends on February 28th, 2023.

Can I join from home?

The Elite Indoor Race is designed to connect your bike community with thousands of cyclists worldwide through the store. You must go the your closest retailer to join the gang.

Can I cheat in this race?

To prevent cheating on the rider’s weight and incorrect wattages, the cyclist’s weight on the app has been set to 70 kg (154.32 lbs).

How can I follow the ranking?

You will receive at your e-mail a link to access the general ranking. The leaderboard can be filtered by store, city and country.
